How to register for eStatements

In order to register for eStatements, you will need to be registered for Online Banking. If you do not yet have Online Banking set up, you can call us on 1300 302 474 to set it up for you.

Once you have Online Banking, follow these simple steps to register for eStatements:

  1. Log on to Online Banking via the button at the top right hand side of this page
  2. Once you are logged in, click on ‘Services’ in the top menu
  3. Then click on ‘e-Statements’
  4. Register your details

Once you have registered your details for eStatements, depending on the frequency you have requested to receive statements you may receive one more paper statement before you begin receiving eStatements.


An eStatement is a digital copy of your bank statement that you can view, download as a PDF or print, all from within Online Banking. eStatements contain the same information as a paper statement and can be accessed at any time. You will receive an email notification when your statement is ready to view online.

eStatements add further security to your everyday banking as they can only be accessed from within Online Banking. Following these simple steps will ensure your eStatements remain private and secure:

  • Do not share your Online Banking password with anyone
  • View your eStatements privately and make sure no one can see your screen when viewing
  • Remember to close all windows and sign out of Online Banking once you are done

eStatements are stored indefinitely on Gateway's Online Banking platform.

If you are switching from paper statements to eStatements, your statement history will be available via Online Banking (from October 2020).
